Improvisation…Where to begin?
First, start with rhythm. Play one note in a rhythmically interesting way.
Next, add different notes within your created rhythm. Try using a minor pentatonic scale.
For the drummers: Play the rhythm of the melody, then brach out. Think melodically as much as rhythmically.
